The Arnold Library has replaced the self-check kiosk with a self-checkout app that can be used on both Apple and Android phones.

Please note: We will be discontinuing the app in June 2024. It will continue to be active until then, and after June 2024 we will unpublish this page.

• For iPhone and Android, search for and download "Fred Hutch Arnold Library" in app stores.
• When you have it installed, navigate to Account > Manage Accounts > Add Account, and sign in through your Fred Hutch ID and password.
• For self-checkout, under Account locate Mobile Checkout and hold camera up to barcode(s) you would like to check out. App will show checkout and due date.
  • If you encounter an error, or do not have a smartphone, please email library@fredhutch.org with your name, book title, and barcode, and we will check out to your account.
    • Note: There is a known issue with some versions of iPhones. The cameras do not focus enough to pick up the book's barcode. Unfortunately, this is not something that can be fixed. Email us the book's title and barcode and we'll check it out remotely.
