FAQ+A

What is Interlibrary Loan?

Answer

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service free to the user through which you can request research materials, such as journal articles, books, book chapters, and other materials that are not available in the Arnold Library. On average, it takes 1-2 business days to fill ILL requests for articles, but can take longer based on request type and availability in other Libraries in our network.

We process ILL requests each morning on business days. There is no charge to Fred Hutch faculty and staff for ILL requests or document delivery requests.
