Library resource error message "Oops! It looks like you have attempted to view a page that has not been configured for access."

I am trying to access a library resource and get this error message. What should I do?

Oops! It looks like you have attempted to view a page that has not been configured for access.

If you are a library patron...

Please contact your library and provide the name of the resource you were trying to access and the Host line below so the library can work with you to correct this error.

Host: https://jcr.clarivate.com

If you are an EZproxy administrator...

To allow this resource to be used in a starting point URL, you need to either:

Add the Host line above to the existing database stanza for this resource
Create a new database stanza for this resource and include the Host line above within that stanza
Please do not add this Host line by itself to the config.txt file because this could cause problems in your configuration or when troubleshooting access to resources in the future.

For more information see Starting Point URLs & config.txt.

For details about how to update this page, see Default Web Pages.

Answer

Thanks for letting us know you encountered this error! This is a configuration problem with our remote access service and we will work with the vendor to correct the problem.

In the meantime, if you are on campus or VPN, you can bypass the remote access service and go directly to the resource instead. To do this, copy the resource link either from the browser bar or from the body of the error message (highlighted in the screenshot above). Paste the copied link into your browser to go directly to the resource. This will only work if you are on the campus network (either physically on campus or on the VPN). If you are off campus, try logging into the VPN first and then follow the instructions above to access the resource.
